Caroline B sent me samples of three of their products: Summertime pantyhose by Ibici, Sensual pantyhose by Cervin, and Capri stockings by Cervin.
Summertime Pantyhose (Ibici)
This is on the back of the packaging:
"The absolutely invisible pantyhose thanks to the micro-aerated structure 8-den knitting and to the shadowed toe, has a soft waist band and an ultra light cotton gusset that make this garment even cooler."
The hose are soft and ultra light as promised, and they did provide a fairly comfortable fit, despite being only 8 den. My experience is that the lighter den pantyhose typically don't provide as form-fitting a fit, but these were better than expected.
To check and see if they were truly "invisible," my girlfriend and I put them to a real-life test. After I put on the hose, we went to a local store and chatted with a salesgirl. After a few minutes, we asked her if she could tell that I was wearing hose under my shorts (explaining to her the unusual reason for the odd question.) After having to take a closer look, she concluded that the claim of "invisible" on the packaging was not misleading.
Capri and Sensual (Cervin)
This is on the back of the packaging for Sensual:
"These tights are the product of highly advanced research using new lycra fibres, that mould themselves to the shape of the leg.
Sensual, aesthetic and sensorial.
1. Uniform weave tights for a slender silhouette.
2. Transparent and feather-light gossamer.
3. All the softness, comfort and strength of Lycra double filament.
4. Cotton gusset, picot mesh waistband.
5. Elegant, sophisticated mesh heels, invisible reinforcements."
Both products from Cervin were very similar. I think I liked them a little more than the Ibici product, but that would only stand to reason, as I prefer heavier den (the Sensual pantyhose are 20 den.)
Last Words
Though I found both products to be acceptable, neither of them are products from
which I would get great use. This stems mostly from my preference for heavier
den products, even in the summertime. However, the products are very
comfortable, and no doubt would be well-liked by many.
