Well, Libster says I HAVE to post my interview stuff here. WARNING: this may be disjointed.
Went down to Richmond last night to get ready for the interview. They put me up at the Embassy Suites....NICE. Brought the laptop, so I could amuse myself most of the evening. Of course, this ALSO caused half my friends to IM me at 11pm yelling "GO TO BED!" Woke up at 6:30 this morning....in my paranoid state, I did BOTH a wake up call and set the alarm. Got dressed, and on a happy note, realized that due to losing weight, my dress is now too long. Woohoo!
Got over to the office, which is this HUGE complex. CHecked in, and then settled in for two hours of testing. One was numerical analysis, and the other was a touchy-feely mangement one. Blech. After that, off for FOUR HOURS of interviews. Two behavorial ones, where they ask you things like "Describe a time when you had to overcome objections to complete a project." I actually like those....I've done enough different work that I have a ton of examples. And two case studies, which I hate. Especially my first one.....guy made me feel like a moron. I'm a frigging analyst, not a finance major!!!!! Second guy was a LOT nicer.....I was still a little unsure, but he was at least helpful. And he gave me a boomerang. :)
After that, was back to the hotel to pick up my car, and off for the 2 hour drive home. Stopped off to treat myself to dinner at the Cracker Barrel.....was relaxing, PLUS it helped me miss rush hour here in DC. Overall, I thought it went REALLY well, and I hear back next Tuesday or Wednesday. Friend who got hired had hte offer made a week later, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed......I can get out of this hell of a job, away from my roomie......WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Random thoughts:
I hate pantyhose.
One bad thing about a casual office....I am NO longer used to heels. Feet hurt like a bitch all day.

At least I got fed well.....quesadillas for lunch with rice. Mmmmmm. And it was free.

Having one person stay in a suite is kinda pointless. A living room, bedroom, bar....and just me in there. And WHY couldn't they have made the bathroom a little bigger? Yeesh!
